Mr. Kendall Ward, 62, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, January 21, 2017, at Neshoba County General Hospital.

He was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County and worked for various manufacturing facilities for several years before retirement. He retired from the National Guard after 21 years of service. His favorite hobby was racing and training thoroughbred horses. Mr. Ward was a member of Bloomfield Congregational Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Aida D. Ward of Philadelphia; daughter, Melissa Ward Shackelford (Ken) of Union; sons, Barry Ward (Beth Ann) of Little Rock, MS, Brock Ward of Louisville and Brian Ward of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Hannah Ward, Eli Ward, Kase Ward, Miriam Ferguson, Ethan Ferguson and Noah Ferguson; sister, Linda Dumas (Roy) of Walnut Grove; brother Ronnie Ward (Betty) of Philadelphia; several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Ward was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Earline Ward.
