Margie Eubanks Morris

Margie Eubanks Morris, 92, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, April 22, 2016, at her residence in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be Sunday, April 24, 2016, at 4:30 p.m. in the Nowell Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Trent Jaudon officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service at Nowell Massey Funeral Home from 3 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Hight Assembly of God Church Cemetery in Noxapater, Mississippi.
Margie was born June 25, 1923, to Barney and Gladys Bane Eubanks. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Pascagoula, Mississippi, and a retired housekeeper.

Ms. Morris is survived by three daughters: Beverly Parker and husband, Clovis, of Noxapater; Ruth M. Gentry, of Louisville, Mississippi; and Peggy Jane Burger of Gulfport, Mississippi; and son, Colon William Morris, Jr. and wife, Terri, of Alabama. Also left to mourn her passing is her sister, Mable Parker, of Noxapater; and brother, Mack Eubanks and wife, Janice, of Philadelphia, Mississippi. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren: Lee Parker, Donya Dodson (David); Bridgette Blackwell (Chris); Jeff Burger (Renonda); Jason Burger; Cynthia Morris; Elizabeth Spencer (Jason); Nichole Froney (Matt); and Will Morris; and eight great-grandchildren: Lydia Morris; Ashley Malone; MaKenzie Blackwell; Madison Dodson; Annelise Burger; Breanna Burger; Juliana Spencer; and Kaylee Spencer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Colon W. Morris, Sr.; her parents; her son-in-law, Terry Gentry; and her brothers, Jack, Ed, Portis, and Johnny Eubanks.

Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Blackwell, Jeff Burger, David Dodson, Matt Froney, Will Morris, and Lee Parker.
