Lonnie Chester Brown

Lonnie Chester Brown, Jr., better known as “Chester” to his family and close friends, passed away at age 57 on Thursday, February 6, 2016, at The Magnolia Personal Care Home in Meridian, Mississippi. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Concord Baptist Church in Choctaw County with Rev. Clint Clark and Rev. Roger Griffith officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service at Concord Baptist Church from 1 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Concord Church Cemetery.
Chester was born August 26, 1958, in Tallulah, Louisiana, to Lonnie C. Brown, Sr. and Janice Eugin Brown. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church of Ackerman. He retired from N. L. Drilling after working in the Oil Industry.

Chester is survived by his mother, Janice Brown; three sisters, Kitty Kelly (Raymond); Linda Craft; and Beulah Jane Brown; and his brother, Matt Brown. Also left to mourn his passing is his lifelong friend, Warren Hunt. He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Chester Brown, Sr.

Serving as pallbearers will be Warren Hunt, Sam McKibben, Jimmy Mosley, Rev. James Rushing, Tony Steadman, and Billy Whittington.
