William "W.C." Callaway


William “W. C.” Callaway, 77, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Callaway, Rev. Wayne Hill, and Rev. Hubert Yates officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service from 12 p.m. until service time at the church. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Callaway was born on August 30, 1937, to Truman and Estelle Kitchens Callaway. He was a member of the Ocean-Orleans Masonic Lodge in Louisiana and he was an electrician.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Campos Callaway of Rogersville, Tennessee; three daughters, Carolyn Richards of Alcoa, Tennessee; Shirley Findor of Phoenix, Arizona; and Theresa Callaway of Walland, Tennessee; and a step-daughter, Kathy Crochet of LaPlace, Louisiana. He is also survived by two sisters, Dorothy Keen, of Union, Mississippi; and Barbara Hanna of Louisville, Mississippi; and one brother, Richard Callaway of Pearl, Mississippi. Mr. Callaway has eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and his beloved cat, Buddy. He was preceded in death by his parents.
