Thomas Glenn Suttle, Sr.

Thomas Glenn Suttle, Sr., 78, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, November 28, 2014, at Winston Medical Center in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be Sunday, November 30, 2014, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2014, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Bowie officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.Glenn Suttle was born on July 15, 1936, to Howard and Pauline Hackman Suttle. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Louisville; a member of the Men’s Adult Sunday School class; and a former member of the Louisville Lion’s Club. He graduated from Mississippi State University and was an avid Bulldog fan all his life. For 30 years he helped mold the lives of young people by teaching and coaching for the majority of those years in the Louisville Public School System. He loved his family dearly and with his outgoing personality, he never met a stranger.

Coach Suttle is survived by his wife of 54 years, Fay Suttle; two daughters, Barbara Wood and husband, Tony; and Teresa Boydstun and husband, David; and his son, Tommy Suttle, all of Louisville. One of his greatest joys was being “PawPaw” to three grandsons: Charles Wood and wife, Misty; D. K. Boydstun; and Jesse Boydstun. He is also survived by his sister, Nancy Knight and husband, Dan, of Saltillo, Mississippi; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Serving as pallbearers will be D. K. Boydstun, Jesse Boydstun, J. B. Boyles, Zach Boyles, Samuel Knight, and Charles Wood.
