Tony Stribling

Mr. Tony Stribling, 57, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at his residence on Craig Springs Road in Sturgis, Mississippi. Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, on Thursday, July 25, 2013,
from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Friday, July 26, 2013, from 9 a.m. until service time at Friendship Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 26, at Friendship Baptist Church on Craig Springs Road with Rev. Junior Davis officiating. Interment will be in Craig Springs Cemetery located onCraig Springs Road.

Tony was born on January 18, 1955, to Victor and Jean Frazier Stribling. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and he owned Stribling Logging.

Tony is survived by his mother, Jean Stribling of Sturgis; his daughters, Sarah (David) Lucas and Jennifer (Shannon) Edwards all of Mathiston; and his son, Bo (Brandie) Stribling of Sturgis. He is also survived by his sisters: Loretta McKenzie (Jake) of Sturgis; Rosemary Jensen of Ackerman, Mississippi; and Carol Ray of Starkville, Mississippi; and by two brothers, Leon (Alice) Stribling and Richard Stribling all of Sturgis. Tony is also survived by nine grandchildren: Rhett Stribling, Phillip Lucas, Lexy Lucas, Nicole Lucas, John David Lucas, Gavin Edwards, Addison Edwards, Faith Edwards, and Paisley Edwards; as well as, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Victor Stribling and his brother, Mike Stribling.
