Mary E. Jones

Mrs. Mary E. Jones, 73, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at Rush Medical Center in Meridian, Mississippi. Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 25, 2013,
in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Danny Lanier and Rev. Matt Moehring officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Noxapater, Mississippi, with Dr. Paul Blanchard officiating.

Mrs. Jones was born in Noxapater on August 9, 1939, to John Dennis and Sarah Evans McAdory. She was a member of The Way Community Church, a homemaker, and she was a faithful pastor’s wife for 56 ½ years.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Rev. Tommy Jones; her children, Glen (Renee) Jones of Louisville, Jane (Carlton) Lafferty of Meridian, and Steve (Rena) Jones of Fannin,Mississippi. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren: Chris (Shana) Lafferty, Charrisa (Ben) Shirley, Traci (Kelly) Williams, Shannon (Alex) Pickett, Amanda (Lee) Cumberland, Brooke (Tony) Jennings, Jaimee (Justin) Childs, Drew (Mallory) Jones, Caitlin (Justin) Bradshaw, Meredith Jones (Jon Cherry), and Rebecca Jones. Mrs. Jones also has 18 great-grandchildren: Ben Cumberland, Bryce Stanton, Kenleigh Williams, Jackson Lafferty, Lane Williams, Aslan Shirley, Kalee Cumberland, Eli Stanton, Owen Shirley, Cooper Lafferty, Cade Jones, Jenna Marie Shirley, Peyton Jones, Mary Elise Jones, Macy Dru Shirley, Marley Pickett, Grayson Jones, and Marc Bradshaw. She is survived by two sisters, June (Ivan) Reynolds of Noxapater and Sue McAdory of Louisville; and one brother, Coy (Motoko) McAdory of Jackson, Mississippi; as well as her special friend and caregiver, Precious and Marjay Williams. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Clifton and Leo McAdory; and her sister, Joane McAdory.

Pallbearers will be Steve Blackwell, Mark Lanier, Todd Nosco, Gary Newell, Luke Parkes, and Ross Wingo. Memorials may be given to the Winston-Choctaw Gideon Camp,P. O. Box 556, Louisville, MS 39339.
