Mrs. Johnnie Green

Mrs. Johnnie Green, 85, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011 in Kemper County. She was a native and lifelong resident of the Preston Community of Kemper County. Mrs. Green was a member of Dry Creek Baptist Church.She was a retired longtime employee of Garan, Inc. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Russell Fleming and a granddaughter, Cynthia Fleming.Survivors include her husband, E.J. Green of Preston; daughters, Agnes Fleming and her husband, Joe of Louisville and Angie Clark of Louisville; son, Wayne Green and his wife, Mary of Louisville; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.Visitation will be from 4 - 8 pm on Friday, April 29 at McLain-Hayes Funeral Home in Philadelphia. The funeral service will be 10 am on Saturday, April 30, at the funeral home with Bro. Doug Stokes, Rev. Vernell Daniels and Rev. Trent Jaudon officiating. Interment will follow at the Dry Creek Cemetery in Preston.
