Mr. William C. “Billy” Pearson, 64, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at Calvert Nursing Home in Calvert, Texas. Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 21, 2010, at Hopewell Baptist Church in Choctaw County with Rev. Terrell Mayo and Rev. Terry Mayo officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery. Mr. Pearson was a former resident of Louisville, Mississippi.
He is survived by two sisters, Eloise Burnham and Marie Livingston; one step-brother, C. A. “Pete” Simpson; one aunt, Jewell Mayo; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceding him in death were his parents, Vercie Mayo and William H. Pearson; two sisters, Vergie Hancock and Frances Piehl; and one brother, Hubert Pearson.
