James Lamar Pickett

James Lamar Pickett, 70, a retired claims adjuster for State Farm and Farm Bureau, died Sunday, September 19, 2010, at his daughter's home in Hernando.
Visitation is Wednesday, September 22, 2010, 10-12 at the funeral home and 2-3 at the church. Funeral services are 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at Good Hope Baptist Church with burial in the Good Hope Baptist Cemetery in the Nanih Waiyia Community. Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko is handling the arrangements. Rev. Doug Herring will officiate the service.
He was a Mason with the Winstonville Lodge #277.
Survivors include: son, Anthony Pickett of Madison, MS; daughters, Tammy Sanders of Ocean Springs, MS and Sheila Agniel of Memphis, TN; sister, Marie Pickett Robbins of Louisville, MS; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Ford Pickett; parents, James Horace and Mavis Marvene Ferguson Pickett; and sister, Faye Pickett Davis.
Pallbearers are Leron Greene, Dominick Ford Agniel, Steve Sanders, Kylie Ford, Patrick Robbins, and Johnny Hatcher.
