Mr. Kenny Goodin, 42, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Winston Medical Center in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi, on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Harmony Baptist Church with burial following in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Lundy officiating. Mr. Goodin was an engineer at Taylor Machine Works and a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. He served his country during Operation Desert Storm by serving in the U. S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie of Louisville; one son, Jonathan Goodin and one daughter, Camryn Goodin both of Philadelphia, Mississippi; two sisters, Lanette (Rusty) Hanna of Union, Mississippi, and Kristi (John) Voss of Collinsville, Mississippi; grandmother, Lora Goodin of Louisville, Mississippi; aunt and uncle, Royce and Beryl Womble of Louisville, Mississippi; mother-in-law, Brenda Adams of Monroe, Louisiana; brother-in-law, Nicholas (Elizabeth) Lang of Thomastown, Mississippi; sister-in-law, Melissa Broom of Monroe, Louisiana; nieces and nephews, Andrew Hanna, Matthew Lang, Ryan Lang, Charles Lang, Lane Rushing, Olivia Broome, John David Voss II, Holt Voss, and Jack Voss. Preceding him in death were his parents, Roy and Nelda Goodin.
Pallbearers will be Dan Parks, Rusty Hanna, John Voss, Andrew Hanna, Joey Holdiness, Nicholas Lang, Keith Matzek, and Rod Shealey.
