Henry Lee Goss

 Henry Lee Goss, 79, of Noxapater, MS., passed on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at his home. Funeral Service will be Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 3 p.m., at  Beck Funeral Home, 226 North St., Louisville, MS. 39339. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be in the Center Ridge Church Cemetery. Beck Funeral Home of Louisville in charge of arrangements.

Henry Lee "Syke" Goss was born on December 9, 1946, in Louisville, MS., to the late John West Goss and Elnora Goss. He was the ninth of eleven children born to this union. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, John West and Elnora Goss; four brothers, John Wesley, Joe Nathan, Vester, and Willie Dee; two sisters, Edna and Lessie; and his adopted son Patrick Carter.

Henry lee leaves to cherish his memory his life partner, Arlena Carter; two adopted sons, Jeremy and Reggie Carter; one brother, Lester Goss of Grand Rapids, MI; three sisters, Nancy Jernigan of Calumet City, IL., Bessie McCoy of Grand Rapids, MI., and Catherine Hawthorne of Chicago, IL; sisters-in-law, Cindy Goss of Noxapater, MS. and Geneva Goss of Chicago, IL; brother-in-law, Rudolp Eichelberger of Noxapater, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
