Ronnie was born June 24, 1962, to Tom and Josephine Davis Hurt in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was a 1980 graduate of Louisville High School. After 23 years of service, he retired as a Senior Chief from the United States Navy where he was a Gas Turbine Systems Technician (GSE). Ronnie loved to ride his Harley motorcycle. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and cooking for his family.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Tamara Hurt of Louisville; daughter, Heather Lorraine (Ryan) Hubert of Chicago, Illinois; son, Ronald James Hurt, II of Jacksonville, Florida; and grandchildren, Dean Hubert and Hannah Hubert. He is also survived by two brothers, William Hurt and John Hurt. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Thomas Joseph Hurt and David Pierre Hurt.
