Jimmy Lee Wyatt

Funeral Services for Jimmy Lee Wyatt will be held on Sunday October 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. from Mars Hill Pentecostal Church in Winston County with Bro. Richard Burkes and Bro. Kenny Chessor officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday October 26, 2024 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.

Jimmy Lee Wyatt, a beloved husband, father, and skilled electrician, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 25, 2024, at the age of 73. Born on Wednesday, March 21, 1951, in Oxford, AL.

Jimmy was a longtime resident of Philadelphia, Mississippi, where he built a life filled with love, dedication, and service to his community. He was known for his unwavering work ethic and expertise as an electrician, a career he pursued with passion and excellence. His commitment to his craft was matched only by his dedication to his family and friends. Mr. Wyatt was member of Mars Hill Pentecostal Church and pastored at Smallwood Pentecostal Church for several years. He enjoyed preaching the gospel, playing his guitar, doing woodwork and loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Judy Sisson Wyatt; son, Derek Wyatt (Brandi); grandchildren, Blake and Celena Wyatt all of the Mars Hill Community of Winston County; sister, Grace Dempsey of Louisville; brother, Howard Wyatt of Oxford, AL; honorary daughter, Pam Burks (Richard) of Philadelphia.

Mr. Wyatt was preceded in death by parents, Jim and Josephine Wyatt; sisters, Peggy, Anna, Patricia and Vicky Jo; brother, Keith Wyatt.

Pallbearers are Derek Wyatt, Blake Wyatt, Franky Goldmon, Bill Goldmon, Tim Manning and Greg Sisson.
