William Wesley Lee was born in Louisville, MS on January 20, 1945, to the late Johnnie Fulton and Charlie Travis Rogers Lee. He was a lifetime resident of Noxubee County, graduate of Noxubee High School and Hinds Junior College. After college, Wesley worked for Macon Feed Mill and owned his own electrical business, having wired many homes in Macon. In 1968, Wesley began his career with Four County Electric Power Association, as a grounds man, having worked in all aspects of the coop and retired as the district manager in 2009. After his retirement he enjoyed fishing, tinkering in his shop fixing anything that needed fixing. Wesley enjoyed going to car shows, skiing in his younger years, spending time on the river and was always up to mischief. Wesley enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was an avid sports fan, following his children wherever they were playing. Wesley served on board of directors for many years at Noxubee General Hospital, also was a member of the Macon Lions Club, and a Central Academy board member. He was a member and past elder of Independent Methodist Church. Wesley is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Johnnie Gene Lee, brother-in-law, Kenny Millis and grandson, Lee Sciple.
Wesley is survived by his wife: Lisa Lee of Macon, MS; three daughters, Kristie Boykin (Tommy) and Carol Sciple (Ronnie) all of Shuqualak, MS; son: Wes Lee (Katie) Brandon, MS; sister, Bettie L. Millis of Brandon, MS and brother: Donnie Lee (Wanda) of Macon, MS. ten grandchildren: Mallary McGee (Ward),Cody Boykin (Angela), Shelby Sloan (Clint), Chase Sansing (Allen), Lane Sansing (Lauren), Lora Lee Rigdon(Rowdy) Will Sciple, Savannah Rose Lee, John Walker Lee, and James Wells Lee;
Fourteen great grandchildren; Brooke, Blake and Brent McGee, Esther, Esme Faith and Avielle Boykin, Allie and Sadie Sloan, Mac and Mason Sansing, Dallas and Rafe Rigdon, Brylee Sciple; mother in law, Dezie Jeffries, sisters and brothers in-laws- Kathy Vaughan(Van), Bill Jefferies, Jr. (Teresa), Donna Miles (Mike), Andi Merchant (Bill); and numerous nieces and nephews.
