William Tully Rhodes III

William Tully Rhodes of Biloxi, Mississippi passed away peacefully on August 1, 2023 at home surrounded by those who dearly loved him, after a 10-year battle with cancer.

Tully was born on January 13, 1955 in Louisville, Mississippi. He went on to earn his masters in civil engineering from Mississippi State, and served as a professional civil engineer for 44 years. Tully was known for his wit and humor, his active lifestyle, and his kind and dependable nature. He enjoyed a variety of activities such as running, biking, swimming, and kayaking. Tully was even able to participate in the Heart of Dixie Triathlon for 30 consecutive years, despite battling cancer. He was also active in his church, volunteering with the youth group and teaching Sunday School. He was always ready to help others.

Tully is survived by his wife Brenda; daughter Melissa; daughter Beth and her husband, David;
granddaughter Woods; and sister Mary Anne Dickerson and husband, Jimmy. Tully was preceded
in death by his mother, Pauline, and father, William.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 7th at 1:00 pm in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville, Mississippi, with Pastor Eric Smith and Pastor Jimmy Stewart officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service at the funeral home from 12 p.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to World Help, an organization that Tully supported. The family also welcomes expressions of condolences and other wishes.
