Lynn Beasley

Mr. Lynn H. Beasley, Jr., 81, passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Regency Hospital in Meridian, MS. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, July 1st, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Mike Childs officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Betheden Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Lynn was born January 22, 1942, in Macon, MS. He was a self-employed carpenter, and a member of Betheden Lutheran Church. He was a member of the Betheden Masonic Lodge # 205.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Lynn H. Beasley, Sr. and Thelma Ponder Beasley; his sisters, Marie Prisock, Daisy Edwards, and Merle Tucker; brother, Paul Beasley; and an infant brother, Davis Earl Beasley.

Lynn is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dean Beasley of Louisville, MS; his children, Lisa (Vernon) Hathock, Darrell Beasley, Mark (Randy) Beasley, Chris Beasley, Tuck (Susan) Beasley, all of Louisville, and Ryan Beasley of Starkville; his brother, Vernon (Flora) Beasley of Flora, MS; grandchildren, Kirsten Golden, Randi Beasley, Hailey (Joe) Towne, Mitch Keene; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Austin Prisock, T. J. Prisock, Ronnie Flake, Tommy Peterson, Brad Bradford, and Mark Peterman. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Rogers, Travis Prisock, Junior Beasley, Ken Beasley, and Paris Swanigan.
