Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023,11:00 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Jeremy McCrory officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS, and Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. till service time at 11:00 at the church. Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman, MS will be in charge of all arrangements.
Mrs. Jones is survived by three sons, George (Jennifer) Jones, Jr. of Starkville, MS, Ricky (Isabel) Jones of Clinton, MS, Audie (Cindy) Hughes of Starkville, MS; and one daughter, Angie (Tommy) Reece of Starkville, MS. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her mother, Elia Latiolais; grandmother, Lea Josephine Robertson; grandfather, Alexander Latiolais, Sr.; one daughter, Kathy Musgrove; two sons, Sam Hughes and David Jones; one brother, Saul Melancon; and one sister, Mae Melancon Green.
