Virginia Juanice Dempsey Fulton

Virginia Juanice Dempsey Fulton, age 82, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Choctaw Regional Medical Center in Ackerman, Mississippi. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 6 from 5:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 7 at Middleton United Methodist Church with Bro. Antoine Stokes officiating. Visitation will also be the day of the service at the church from 9 a.m. until service time. Interment will immediately follow in Middleton Cemetery.

Juanice was born December 12, 1939, to Richard and Ollie Mae Horton Dempsey in Mississippi. She was a member of Middleton United Methodist Church. Juanice loved to work in her garden and she loved the farm. She also enjoyed fishing but most of all, she loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Juanice is survived by three sons: Randy Fulton and wife, Tammy, of Macon, Mississippi; Ronnie Fulton, and Rodney Fulton both of Louisville. One of her greatest joys was being “Maw” to her grandchildren: Phillip Fulton, Lauren Fulton, Krystal Fulton Hoskins, Coli Kirk, and Mackenzie Shumaker; as well as her 15 great-grandchildren: Avriel Fulton, Logan Hoskins, Christanna Hoskins, Christian “Feet” Hoskins, Gabriel Kirk, Garrett Sanderson, C. J. Shumaker, Kailea Shumaker, Makenna Shumaker, Cadence Kirk, Remy Jackson, Ella Fulton, Sophia Fulton, Jackson Fulton, and Blake Fulton; and her great-great-grandson Briceson Fulton. Juanice is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, J. P. Fulton; two sons, Ricky and Roger Fulton; her parents; and her sister, Faye Miller.

Serving as pallbearers are John Mark Dickerson, Dennis Duncan, Roger Garrard. 

Memorial contributions in honor of Ms. Juanice may be given to Middleton Cemetery Fund.
