Shirley Dean Adcock

Graveside service for Ms. Shirley Dean Adcock will be held after visitation Sunday, December 11, 2022 at McGee Cemetery with Rev. Marlon Adcock and Rev. Chris O’Daniel officiating. Visitation will be held 1-2 PM Sunday, December 11, 2022 at John E. Stephens Chapel.Shirley Dean Adcock was a native of Leake County and a 42-year resident of Winston County. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, great-aunt, and a precious friend to many. She was a homemaker. She loved to go shopping. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of Zama Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Ricky Adcock (Charlotte) of Leake County; Grandsons, Bob Adcock (Amanda) and Aaron Adcock; Great-Grandchildren, Garrett Adcock, Marli-Clare Kelly, Axton Adcock, and Hagan Adcock; Sister, Betty Todd and a host of nieces and nephews. Ms. Adcock was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Adcock, her parents, Thurman and Grace Myers, grandson, Daniel Adcock, brothers, James, Tommy, Bobby, and Buddy Myers. Pallbearers: Bob Adcock, Garrett Adcock, Aaron Adcock, Paul Todd, Jon Wyatt King, and Billy King Honorary Pallbearers: Marli-Clare Kelly, Axton Adcock, Hagan Adcock, and Carter Adcock.
