Mary Elizabeth Vowell

Graveside service for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Vowell will be held 10 AM Monday, November 14, 2022, at Mars Hill Cemetery Winston County with Rev. Tony Linley and Rev. Richard Burks officiating. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Vowell, 74, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Neshoba General Nursing Home. She lived most of her life in Neshoba County and was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church. Her hobby was watching TV.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl Dewitt Thompson and Vera Shearer Thompson; son, Donnie Dale Vowell.

Survivors include her husband, Gary Vowell; sons, Douglas Vowell (Christy), Ricky Vowell (Carol); (4) grandchildren, Regina Woodall, Joey Vowell, Amanda Coward, Austin Vowell; (6) great-grandchildren; (1) great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers: Warren Deweese, J.P. Watson, Tim Manning, Glenn Sisson, Greg Sisson, Jonathan Sellers.
