Linda worked and retired from Spartus Clock Factory in Louisville, MS. In her spare time she enjoyed quilting, visiting with community, and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Linda is survived by her son, Michael Wayne Shaw of Ackerman, MS, and her daughter, Kathy Dawn(Michael) Brown of Mathiston, MS. She is also survived by 2 grandsons, Austin(Carmen) Dempsey of Ackerman, MS, and Cody(Morgan) Dempsey of Maben, MS; 3 great-granddaughters, Emma Blake Dempsey, Deklee Claire Quinn, Demi Lee Dempsey; and 2 great-granddaughters, Daisie Jo Dempsey and Denton Elise Dempsey, expected later in the year. She is also survived by 1 brother, Edwin(Kay) Blake of Ackerman, MS.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lee Shaw, her parents, and 3 brothers, James, David, and Jerry Blake.
Services will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, 2:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Bethlehem Cemetery near Ackerman, MS. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. prior to service time. Pallbearers will be John Blake, Tommy Blake, Justin Blake, Tony Dempsey, Vic Latham, and Jimmy Brown. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Dan Blake.
