Cathy Barnhill Sullivan, age 66, passed away on June 15, 2022, at Louisville Healthcare in Louisville, Mississippi, with her loving family by her side. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 18 at Good Hope Baptist Church with Bro. Jason Gross officiating. Visitation will be the day of the service at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will immediately follow the service in Good Hope Cemetery.
Cathy was born October 6, 1955, to Thadis and Joyce Stockton Barnhill in Illinois. She was an excellent cook and served the community while working at Brandy’s, which later became Kathy’s Chicken Basket. Cathy also enjoyed crocheting.
Cathy is survived by her husband of 49 years Tim Sullivan of Noxapater, Mississippi. She also leaves behind her children Dustin Sullivan of Louisville and Brad Sullivan and wife Kristin of Philadelphia, Mississippi. One of her greatest joys was being “Nanny” to her seven grandchildren: Aaron Sullivan, Mikayla Watkins, Steven Sullivan, Christopher Sullivan, Terry Lynn Sullivan, Dylan Sullivan, and Hannah Sullivan. She is also survived by her sister Donna Morris. Cathy is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Rhonda Fish, and brother Steven Barnhill.
Serving as pallbearers are Aaron Sullivan, Stevie Ball, Bud Carr, Brian “BW” Jauch, John Pugh, Darrell Moore, and Wes Tanksley. Memorials in honor of Cathy may be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital online at stjude.org/donate.
