Ms. Kimberly Dawn Moody, 46, passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Baptist Golden Triangle Medical Center in Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, April 8th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Trent Jaudon and Rev. Rob Faulk officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Kimberly was born June 2, 1975, in Louisville, MS. She was a 1994 graduate of Louisville High School, and a graduate of the University of West Alabama, where she received her nursing degree. She worked as an RN at Diamond Grove and Winston Medical Center for many years. She was a member of South Louisville Baptist Church. Kimberly was a loving and giving person, who loved taking care of her patients and especially her animals.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Darlene Scott Moody.
She is survived by her father, Jimmy Moody of Louisville; her sister, Heather (Ryan) Gilmer of Louisville; her brother, David Moody of Louisville; and her nieces and nephews, Wyatt Moody, Sam Gilmer, and Sydney Kate Gilmer.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Gilmer, David Moody, Ryan Korbel, Sam Gilmer, and Wyatt Moody.
