Funeral services for William Maurice Ladd will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 11 a.m. from Neshoba Baptist Church with Rev. Byron Howell officiating. Burial will follow in Neshoba Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, February 7, 2022 from 5 until 8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at Neshoba Baptist Church. McClain-Hays is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Ladd, 77, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, February 6, 2022.
Maurice was born and raised in Neshoba and attended Linwood school. He was employed with US Motors for 35 years and also worked for Maytag, until he officially retired. He dearly loved his family and loved to fish and horse trade. Mr. Ladd was a member of Neshoba Baptist Church.
Survivors include, his daughters, Melissa Ward (Hubert) of Union and Tracy Reel (David) of Louisville; grandchildren, Renee Cumberland (John), Christy Landrum, Brianna Curran and Hailey Reel; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister, Janice Belk of Union; brother, James Paul Ladd of Union; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Ladd was preceded in death by his first wife, Emma Ladd; second wife, Darlene Ladd; parents, Wilburn and Ola Ladd; one sister.
