Graveside service for Virginia Kight will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 2 p.m. from Cedarlawn Cemetery with Dr. Dan Howard officiating. Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. until departure at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Kight, 78, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, February 13, 2022.
She was a longtime resident of Neshoba County and was a member of First Baptist Church of Philadelphia.
Survivors include one son Jimmy Kight (Mary Kathryn) of Starkville; grandchildren, Claire and Charlie Kight; sister, Lynda Luke of Madison; brother, Raymond Clark (Debbie) of Conahatta; step-sons, Ken Kight of Nanih Waiya, John Kight (Melonie) of Saltillo, Wes Kight (Jennifer) of Nanih Waiya and Rodney Kight of Philadelphia; step-daughter, Donna Nye (Melzar) of Macon, GA; a host of nieces and nephews
Mrs. Kight was preceded in death by parents, Clyde and Marion Clark; many step-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Bobby Luke.
Pallbearers, Rodney Kight, Wes Kight, Clark Luke, Benjamin Luke and Jered Clark.
