Sharon Eaves

Sharon Adele Eaves, 63, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Sunday, February 6th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. David Greer and Rev. Mike Dowd officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:30 P.M. until the service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Whitehall Methodist Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Sharon was born December 12, 1958, in Louisville, MS. She was a 1976 graduate of Winston Academy, and a hairdresser. She was a member of Whitehall Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Becky and Charles Eaves.

She is survived by her brother, Chuck (Maryellen) Eaves of Memphis, TN; her nieces, Maggie (Beth) Ticer and Alyssa Eaves; and her cousins, Susan (John) Dempsey and Bob Yarbrough.

Pallbearers will be John Dempsey, Jack Dempsey, Eric Whitehead, Neal Higgason, Lenny Boatner, and Beau Boatner. Honorary pallbearers will be Garvin Whitten and Jerry Pearson.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and the American Cancer Society.
