Funeral service for Ms. Dorothy L. Kirkland will be held 11 AM Friday, November 12, 2021 at Pentecostals of House Church with Rev. Barry Fulton officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 9-11 AM Friday, November 12, 2021 at Pentecostals of House Church.
Ms. Kirkland, 88, passed away Wednesday, November 10 ,2021 at her home. She lived in the House/Little Rock community most of her life. She was retired from Kerr Glass where she worked in Quality Control Department. She was a member of Pentecostals of House Church. Her hobbies and special interests were her family, church, sewing and rescuing animals.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Nolen Kirkland; sisters, Louise Adams, Infant Eva Jewell Warren; brothers, Leonard, Clayton, Willie, Lamar, and Charles Warren.
Survivors include daughters, Brenda Held (Harry) of IL, Wanda Kirkland (Pete) Little Rock, MS; sons, Jackie Kirkland of Little Rock,MS, Tommy Kirkland (Barbara) of IL, Michael Kirkland (Michelle) of MO; sisters, Anna Dee Spears of Phila, Betty Kelley of Noxapater, Diane Scarborough of Ovett, MS; brothers, Robert Warren and Ray Warren of Philadelphia; (15) grandchildren; (21) great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers: Jamie Warren, Patrick McHugh, Tommy Kirkland, Tyler Adcock, Daniel Kirkland, Evan Geiss.
