Judy was born to the late Sidney Young “Buck” & Mary Francis Pope Ashmore of Louisville, Mississippi. Judy married Jerry Mulanax on April 12, 1968 at the Noxapater Baptist Church, Noxapater, Mississippi and had two children, Jerome Mulanax (Shelly Mulanax) of Houston, Texas and Julie Mulanax of Southaven, Mississippi.
Judy was predeceased by her parents, Buck and Mary Ashmore; sisters, Pamela and Marsha; brothers, Jerry and Perry Ashmore; niece, Rhonda Ashmore, and nephews, Eric Ashmore and Kevin Ashmore.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Mulanax, children, Jerome Mulanax and Julie Mulanax, daughter in law, Shelly Mulanax, grandchildren; Allison, Abigail, and Cameron Mulanax.
The memorial service for Judy will be held at Grandview Baptist Church, located at 900 S. Pearson Road, Pearl, Mississippi 39208 on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to two of her favorite charities, The Gideons International or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
