Paul Wayne “Poss” Henson

Paul Wayne "Poss" Henson passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at his residence in Weir, MS. Mr. Henson was born February 24, 1939, in Choctaw County, MS, to George W. and Lexie(Bright) Henson. He was 82 years old and a member of New Haven Baptist Church near Weir, MS.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021, 11:00 a.m., at New Haven Baptist Church with Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 12, 2021, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home, and from 10:00 a.m. till service time at the church on Monday. Burial will follow in New Haven Cemetery.

Mr. Henson is survived by 1 son, Marty Henson of Weir, MS; 1 daughter, Gay(Wayne) Henson Magee of Flowood, MS; 2 sisters, Rachel(Mike) Dowdy of Olive Branch, MS, Rebecca Pearson of Meridian, MS, and 1 grandson, Tyler Henson of Weir, MS.

Mr. Henson was preceded in death by his wife, Myra "Budney" Henson, his parents; and 1 brother, Lenwood Henson.
