Funeral services for Mr. Oma Lynn Johnson will be held 2 PM Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Mack Alford officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be 10-2 Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at John E. Stephens Chapel.
Mr. Johnson, 64, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021 at his home surrounded by family. He lived most of his life in the Linwood community and made his living by working offshore. He attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, working and doing projects.
He was preceded in death by his parents Oma Savell Johnson and Eva Dean Smith Johnson.
Survivors include his wife, Dianne Johnson; daughter, Ashley Neal (Chris) of Meridian; son, J.D. Johnson (Tracy) of Philadelphia; sisters, Eva Sue Clay and Jane Johnson both of Noxapater; brothers, David Johnson of Arkansas, Jasper Earl Johnson of Louisville; (4) grandchildren, Jackson Johnson, Turner Johnson, Garrett Neal, and Case Neal; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers: David Ladd, John Fisher, Josh Watkins, Jeff Griffin, David Neal, Sam Rudolph.
