Mary was born March 26, 1962, to James and Doris Reed Hurst. She enjoyed caring for her quails and chickens as well as her plants. Mary also loved to crochet especially hats and scarves.
Mary is survived by two daughters Amanda Smith and husband Jeremy of Maben, Mississippi, and Leah Hurst of Starkville, Mississippi. One of her greatest joys was being “MiMi” to her grandchildren Colby and Abigail Smith. She also survived by four siblings: Laura Hatcher of Eupora, Darren Hurst, Tina Whitehead, and Jason Hurst all of Starkville. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and great-niece Marlie Robinson.
