She was born in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania, on November 29, 1962, to the late Sheila Mayne Drake. Though she held a variety of jobs in her life, including a bakery, she was first and foremost a mom and homemaker.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 41 years Giles Dean Perry of Louisville, and her children: Ama Burns of Arcadia, Florida, Caitlin (Carmen) Ramirez of Louisville, Samuel (Sabrina) Perry of Gulfport, Mississippi, Jackob (Mackenzie) Perry of Starkville, Mississippi, and Morgan Slack of Brandon, Mississippi. One of her greatest joys was her four grandchildren: Abagael Burns, Estrella Ramirez, Mateo Ramirez, and Cole Slack. She is preceded in death by her mother Sheila Drake and her sister Cynthia Mayne Slack.
