Sandra Ruth Grace, 75, passed away on Monday, February 08, 2021 at St. Dominic’s in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be Friday, February 12, 2021 at Raymond Rd. Baptist Church from 6:00 p.m.—8:00 p.m. and again Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Poplar Flat Baptist Church in Louisville, MS from 12:00 p.m. until the hour of the service at 1:00 p.m.
Mrs. Grace, the 4th of five sisters, was born to Leonard Ellis and Bonnie Taylor Ellis on June 23,1945 in Louisville, MS. A long-time resident of South Jackson and Byram, she had lived in Ridgeland for the past two years. Mrs. Grace was the co-owner and operator of Metro Painting. Sandra was a very dedicated person. She loved taking care of not only her grandchildren, but the children at Raymond Rd. Baptist Church where she was a member as well. She also enjoyed cooking.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Lavon Grace; sons, Michael (Pshone) Grace of Gluckstadt and Preston (Alisha) Grace of Byram; sisters, Margie Bell of Hattiesburg, Ellen Prisock of Madison, Glenda Baswell of Ackerman, and Connie Greer of Richton; and five grandchildren, Aubrey, Tatum, Lindi, Lexie, and Lacie Grace.
