Mary was born May 15, 1954, to Osler and Effie Haggard Stevenson in Louisville. She was a member of South Louisville Baptist Church. Mary retired from the Louisville Municipal School District as a Special Education teacher. She felt her “calling” to be a special education teacher while she was in the seventh grade herself. Mary enjoyed fishing and camping and working in her flower beds in the yard. She also was an avid Mississippi State fan.
Mary is survived by her husband of 45 years Lowell Wilson of Louisville. She is also survived by her niece Wendy Cornett and her nephew Clint (Kelly) Cornett as well as many cousins and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Patricia Holt.
