Thresea Cooper Boykin

Thresea Cooper Boykin, 60, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at her home in Louisville, Mississippi. Private family funeral services will be Friday, January 15 with Bro. Trent Jaudon officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Thresea was born June 17, 1960, to Thomas D. and Billie Dean Bouchillon Cooper in Louisville. She was a gemologist as well as a very talented musician and artist. Thresea enjoyed putting puzzles together and was an avid reader including her love of studying the Bible.

Thresea is survived by her husband Matt Boykin and her mother Billie Dean Cooper both of Louisville. She is also survived by three children: Marsha (William) Robinson of Florence, Mississippi, Michael Vance of Jackson, Tennessee, and Christina Randall also of Louisville. One of her greatest joys was being “MeMe” to her three grandchildren: Autumn Davis, Angelina Stodola, and Michael Scott Stodola. Also left to mourn her passing is her brother Thomas (Brigitte) Cooper of Louisville; in addition to her nieces, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Thomas D. Cooper.

Serving as pallbearers will be Thomas Cooper, Tony Wood, Chris Brannon, Randy Hill, and Patrick Wylie. Gifts in memory of Thresea may be given to Nowell-Massey Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
