Willie E. “Bill” Warren


Services for Willie E. “Bill” Warren will be held Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 11 a.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. Leavy Shoffner officiating. Burial will follow in North Bend Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, November 13, 2020 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Warren, 85, of Neshoba County, died Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at his home.

He was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County and was retired from U.S. Motors where he worked for 30 plus years as a setup machinist. Mr. Warren was a member of Sardis Baptist Church, member of Coffadeliah Masonic Lodge 371, served in U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany and he was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 4396.

Survivors include his daughters, Susan Shoffner (Earl) of Philadelphia, Carrie Stacy (Steve) of Louisville and Jennie Sullivan (David) of Naniah Waiya; sons, William “Billy” Warren of Ingram, TX and Lennie Warren (Jo-Ann) of Hanover, PA; sisters, Dorothy Kirkland of Little Rock, MS, Annie D. Spears of Philadelphia, Betty Kelley of Noxapater and Diane Scarbrough of Ovett, MS; brothers, Ray Warren of Little Rock, MS and Robert “Bob” Warren of Philadelphia; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and their families.

Mr. Warren was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Warren (2016); sons, Steven J. Warren and Richard “Red” Warren; parents, Henry N. and Carrie E. Fortenberry Warren; grandson, Willie M. Warren; two great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; sisters, Eva Juel Warren and Louise Adams; brothers, Leonard, Clayton, Charles and Lamar Warren.
