Mr. John Madison “Matt” Conn III, 62, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at Baptist-Golden Triangle Hospital in Columbus, MS. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th, at Porter Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Matt was born November 30, 1957, in Houston, TX. He was a graduate of Louisville High School, and worked in the construction business. Mr. Conn was also a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gloria Marie Russell and John M. Conn, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Sherrie Long Conn of Macon, MS; two sons, Charles Wayne Conn of Mountain Home, AR, and Wesley Madison Conn of Louisville, MS; one sister, Jewel Pendergrass of Mountain Home, AR; two brothers, Russell Lee Conn of Mountain Home, AR, and Billy Frank Conn of Madison, MS; and three grandchildren, Madisyn Conn, Colt Conn, and Brody Conn.
Memorials may be made to Yellow Creek Baptist Church.
