Mr. Horace Udell Robertson, 91, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Winston Medical Center in Louisville. A graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 A. M. on Monday, November 30th, at Murphy Creek Cemetery, with Rev. Glynn Barker and Mr. Mike Robertson officiating. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Robertson was born April 22, 1929, to Elbert and Etta Miles Robertson. He attended First Apostolic Church and was a truck driver and mechanic. He was lovingly known as “Handyman” to family and friends. He truly enjoyed fishing and taking his youngest son, Don, to Louisville High Wildcats football games.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Johnson Robertson; his parents; his sisters, Edna Lewis Vandevander, and Lillie Kiener; and his brothers, Jimmie T. Robertson, Clois Robertson, Bennie Robertson, and Milton Robertson.
He is survived by his six children, Frances Jones, Beverly Barker, Danny (Michelle) Robertson, Mike Robertson, Chris Robertson, and Don Robertson; five grandchildren, Heath (Rachel) Robertson, Haley (Edmund) Brock, Glynn (Kristy) Barker, Bridget (Josh) Edwards, and Hunter (Mikayla) Robertson; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Lola Espiennchied, Maxine Butler, Joyce Fettrow; and brothers, Travis Robertson and Roland Robertson.
Pallbearers will be Heath Robertson, Glynn Barker, Edmund Brock, Josh Edwards, Paighton Edwards, and Britton Barker.
