Stan was born December 21, 1967, to William Grey and Edith Mary Chambers Boykin. He was one of the best mechanics around and he also enjoyed woodworking. Stan enjoyed any outdoor activity and was a master at piddling; always busy doing something!!
Stan is survived by his daughter Kimberly Boykin of Scooba, Mississippi; his two sons Justin Boykin and wife Ashley and Ryan Boykin; and his fiancé Danyelle Weaver all of Louisville; as well as three step-children: June Edmonds of Louisville, Montana Edmonds of Mobile, Alabama, and Phoenix Edmonds of Ackerman, Mississippi. One of his greatest joys was being “PawPaw” to his six grandchildren: Hailey Boykin, Nicholas Sullivan, Zach Miles, Jacob Williams, David Williams, Brantley Boykin and his step-grandson Wyatt Edmonds. He also leaves behind to mourn his passing his six sisters: Pamela Quinn, Anne Boykin, Culetta Killens all of Louisville, Phyllis Dempsey of Ackerman, Susan Beasley also of Louisville, and JoJo Smith of Attapulgus, Georgia; and his four brothers Matt Boykin and Steve Boykin both of Louisville, Bubba Boykin of Macon, Mississippi, and James Hollis of Starkville, Mississippi.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Anthony Drewery, his sister Wendy Boykin, and his nephew Rocky Boykin.
