Emma Dewayne Allen passed away Thursday, March 12, 2020, at Baptist Hospital, in Jackson, MS. She was 84 years old. Mrs. Allen was born July 19, 1935, in Louisville, MS, to Hampton and Viola(Alexander) Lucas. Mrs. Allen was a retired secretary and an Avon representative.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020, 3:00 p.m., at Chester Baptist Church near Ackerman, MS. Visitation will also be Saturday March 14, 2020, from 1:00 till service time at the church. Burial will follow at Providence Baptist Cemetery near Ackerman, MS.
Mrs. Allen is survived by 1 son, Paul(Angie) Allen of Ackerman, MS, 2 daughters, Angie Liddell of Mendenhall, MS, and Gwen Massey of Morton, MS. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Allen, her parents, 1 brother, and 1 son-in-law.
