Margie was born August 27, 1943, to Paul and Velma Murray Hendrickson. She was a very active member of Wess Chapel Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher. Margie served her community by being involved with and serving as a Girl Scout Leader. She was very talented and creative and enjoyed crafts, sewing, reading, and putting puzzles together. She retired from WLSM—The Refuge as a bookkeeper.
Margie is survived by her three daughters, Denise Keller of Philadelphia, Mississippi; Paula Perkins and husband Mike of Louisville; and MeLissa Halford and husband Tommy of West Memphis, Arkansas. One of her greatest joys was being “MawMaw” to her six grandchildren: Nikki Hunt; Justin (Laken) Keller, Samantha Perkins, Brett Perkins, Mackenzie Halford and L. T. Halford. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren: Karcie Raye, Olivia Keller, Owen Keller, and Carter and Gracie Hunt. Margie was preceded in death by her loving husband Paul “Big Iron” Thompson; her parents; her brother Jerry Hendrickson; and her son-in-law Harold Keller.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Perkins, Tommy Halford, Justin Keller, Brett Perkins, Eddie Harsh, and Kevin Hudson.
