Cliff Sanders

Cliff Sanders, 39, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, September 20, 2019, at his residence in Louisville, Mississippi. Visitation will be Saturday, September 21, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Nowell Massey Funeral Home in Louisville. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, September 22 in the Nowell Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Keen and Rev. Shayne Martin officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service in Perkinsville Cemetery.

Cliff was born in Winston County on December 11, 1979. He was a graduate of Nanih Waiya Attendance Center Class of 1998 and he attended East Mississippi Community College at Mayhew. Anyone who met Cliff quickly realized that he was an avid Ole Miss fan! Cliff was a man of strong faith and an unending love for his family. He had a unique ability to “spin a yarn about the good ole days” and you knew you were special to him when he wrote you a birthday tribute on Facebook. Cliff, a lifelong member of Bethel Baptist Church, had recently transitioned his membership to The Way Community Church. He was employed by Kloeckner Metals as a fabricator.

Cliff is survived by his loving wife of 16 years Lindsey Keen Sanders; and his children: Cooper Sanders, Hunter Cole Sanders, and his Little Princess. He is also survived by his parents Mitch and Shirley Sanders; his brother Brian Sanders and wife Laura; and his grandfather Bill Robinson. He also leaves behind his in-laws Bro. David and Kim Keen and his sister-in-law Laney Keen Barrett and husband Justin. Also left to mourn his passing is a host of extended family including nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Minnie Robinson; and his paternal grandparents Ivan Sanders and Louise Sanders Mitchell.

Serving as pallbearers are Eric Adcock, Justin Barrett, Jared Cockrell, Odie Keen, Grant Mayo, Chris Moody, and Virgil Rodgers. Memorials in honor of Cliff may be given to The Way Mission Fund, P. O. Box 1123, Louisville, MS 39339.
