Leland Grammer passed away Saturday, August 17, 2019, at the Choctaw County Nursing Center, in Ackerman, MS. He was 86 years old. Mr. Grammerwas born May 4, 1933, in Tallahatchie County, MS, to George and Fannie(Williams) Grammer.
Services will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2019, 2:00 p.m., at Coleman Funeral Home, in Ackerman, MS, with Rev. J.A. Little and Rev. Michael Mann officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 20, 2019, from 12:00 noon till 2:00 p.m. service time, at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS.
Mr. Grammer is survived by his wife, Carrie(Beach) Grammer of Ackerman, MS, 1 daughter, Marie Avent(Gary) of Eupora, MS, 3 sons, Gerry Grammer(Nancy) of Ackerman, MS, Jason Grammer(Randi) of McDonough, GA, Ricky Grammer of Ackerman, MS, 1 brother, William Roy "Spud" Grammer of Cascilla, MS, 1 sister, Susie Mae Kendell of Charleston, MS, 6 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Grammer is preceded in death by his parents, and a host of brothers and sisters.
