Morris E. O'Bannon passed away Monday, June 3, 2019, at University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He was 90 years old. He was born January 24, 1929, in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi, to Summer S. and Lue Ella(Reed) O'Bannon. Mr. O'Bannon was a retired foreman for Ideal Glove Company in Maben, MS.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019, 12:00 noon, at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS, with Rev. Jerry Lawson officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, June 8, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. till service time, also at Coleman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Enon Cemetery in Ackerman, MS.
Mr. O'Bannon is survived by his wife, Lavina(Blanton) O'Bannon of Ackerman, MS, 1 son, Ronald O'Bannon of Ackerman, MS, 2 sisters, Edris O'Bannon of Ridgeland, MS, and Helen Tollison of Huntsville, AL.
Mr. O'Bannon was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister, and 2 brothers.
Memorials may be made to the VA State Nursing Home in Kosciusko, MS.
