Joe B. Peacock passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019, at his residence in Mathiston, MS. He was 78 years old. He was born January 29, 1941, in Mathiston, Mississippi, to Thomas Hugh"Dutch" and Modena (Brooks) Peacock. Mr. Peacock was a retired employee of Ingalls Shipyard.
Services will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2019, 10:00 a.m., at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS, with Rev. Todd Chesser officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 15, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m., also at Coleman Funeral Home.
Mr. Peacock is survived by his wife, Bobbie Joe"B.J."Peacock of Mathiston, MS, 2 sons, Joe Peacock(Michele) of Phoenix, AZ, Anthony Fondren(Michelle) of Mathiston, MS,
2 daughters, Kathie Weber(Dan) of Yuba City, CA, Katrina McClelland(Austin) of Mathiston, MS, and 8 grandchildren.
Mr. Peacock was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son, 1 brother, and 3 sisters.
