Mervyn Everett Carver, 80, retired minister, from Eupora, formerly of French Camp, MS. passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at Diversicare Nursing Home & Rehab in Eupora, MS. He was born September 21, 1937, in Foley, AL, to John Edward and Suzy (Mann) Carver. He was a member of French Camp Presbyterian Church.
Funeral Services for Mr. Carver will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at French Camp Presbyterian Church in French Camp, MS, with Coleman Funeral Home of Ackerman in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow in French Camp Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 13, 2018, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home in Ackerman, MS. There will also be an hour's visitation before service time on Monday, May 14, 2018, at French Camp Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Carver was survived by 1 son, Steve(Becky) Carver of Mathiston, MS, 2 daughters, Susan(Michael) Hogg of Brandon, MS, Sherilyn(Dewey) Harms of Jasper, GA, 1 brother, Kenneth(Shirley) Carver of Bessemer, AL, 1 sister, Sandra Davis of Magnolia Springs, AL, 8 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn, and his parents.
