Mae Prisock McAdory

Mrs. Ora Mae McAdory, 79, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Winston County Nursing Home in Louisville. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 8th, at 11:00 A.M. at Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Jonathan Peeples officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mae was born June 11, 1938, in Louisville, MS. She was dietary manager at Winston Medical Center for 28 years, and later served a dorm supervisor at Jackson Hall at East Central Community College. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam McAdory; her parents, Sally and Mike Prisock; a grandson, Khristopher McAdory; and three sisters, Frances Joyce Prisock, Juaquin Chambliss, and Walterine Goodin Hall.

Mae survived by three sons, Paul (Kris) McAdory and Jim (Susan) McAdory, both of Louisville; and Charles (Sandra) McAdory of Pontotoc, MS; five grandchildren, David McAdory, John McAdory, Courtney McAdory, Bryan McAdory, and Brandi Johnson; and four great grandchildren, Cameron Johnson, Nox Johnson, Beau Johnson, and Jericho Johnson.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
