Wallace was born in Winston County on October 6, 1958, to Wallace Harlan Hatcher, Sr. and Norma Sullivan Algood. He was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.
Wallace is survived by his father, Wallace Harlan Hatcher, Sr. of Ackerman, Mississippi; his mother, Norma Sullivan Algood; and his sister, Wanda Hatcher, both of Louisville. Also, he leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Tilton and Marsie Sullivan; and his paternal grandmother, Eunice Hatcher Holder.
Serving as pallbearers are Chris Bush, Ricky Hardy, Harold Hudson, Joe Wayne Hudson, Gary Robbins, David Sullivan, Jeff Sullivan, and Mark Sullivan. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Charlie McMillan, Steven McMillan, and John Sullivan.
