Susan was born November 9, 1956, to Leon and Eddie Mae Quinn White. She was a member of South Louisville Baptist Church and was a loving, caring “people” person. For many years, she worked at various convenience stores always developing an interest in her customers.
Susan is survived by her husband of 33 years, Dennis Dempsey; daughter, Madison Elizabeth Dempsey; and sons Chris Dempsey and Matthew Dempsey all of Louisville. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Sherry Ann Taft and Sandra Creed.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bart Chancellor, Clay Chancellor, Mike Chancellor, Chris Crowson, Ethan Edwards, and Dakota White. Clarke Terney will serve as an honorary pallbearer. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in honor of Susan be made to Nowell Massey Funeral Home to help defray the funeral expenses.
